The GMB is a general union - which means that anyone can join us. We have over 600,000 members working in every part of the economy. One in every 32 people at work in the UK is a member of the GMB and the GMB is organised in 34 of the UK's biggest 50 companies.
The GMB has members in every part of the UK economy doing every type of job imaginable. Our members are men and women, young and old, working full and part time, and are made up of a wide and diverse cross section of our society.
Every day of the year the GMB offers protection at work and solves problems for GMB members. We provide back up, representation and advice on every issue related to your life at work.
